You can earn through Kontera ad network by displaying content link ads. Kontera.com is getting more popularity as no additional ad space is required to display Kontera ads. Kontera use CPC( cost per click) model to pay its publishers. The minimum payout is 100 US dollars and one will get paid through check. You will receive payment after 30 days completing earning 100$ or more.

Kontera matches the keywords of a page from its texts and that text is underlined with double lines. When some one take the mouse pointer on that text an ad appear
and you will earn when he clicks on the ad. You can define how many keywords per page will match with Kontera ads. The default number of keywords are five.

Generally a website with some content and follow their program policy get approved. So if you write some content of 3/4 pages on a topic you are most probably going to get approved. But will somehow written website help to earn? NO. Why? Because when your visitor will come to your page and find nothing beneficial to them they will leave the page immediately and comeback never. So you will not get a good number of visitors to view your site. Without visitors you cannot earn.

So choose a topic in what you have a passion and you know lot about that. You have to write a lot on that topic. If you don't like to write then you cannot hope too much earning in Adsense. It's not necessary that you have to write everything when you start. To start with 10/15 pages are good. If you feel difficulty writing 10/15 pages start with 5/6 pages and then keep updating.

It's no matter with how many pages you start you have to update it regularly( 2/3 times a month). Because your visitors will seek updated content from you.

Suppose you are interested in gardening. Ask yourself what you want from a gardening site? So you will be eager to get tips to make a beautiful garden, what are the best environments for different flowers, where you can get it etc etc. Try to give all the necessary information to your visitors interested to your topic.

Carefully choose a topic. But don't waste too much time to select a topic and don't select a topic in which you have no interest actually. And also don't choose multiple topics for one website. Create different websites for different topics. Because ads will be relevant to your content. If you choose multiple topics for your website your ads will not be relevant and your visitors will not be interested to your site. You can add as many websites as you want in your Adsense account. But keep in mind one person is not allowed for more than One Adsense account.

Before choosing your topic Read the Adsense program policies very well to know on which category( Pornography,Violence etc..) you can't make a website to use Adsense.

One can create a free website without any special computer knowledge such as html, php etc. I mentioned earlier if you know to write English then you are capable to create a website. Many web hosting companies offer free web spaces. But i recommend buying your own domain name from them rather to choose free offers. Because there is no warranty that they will keep it free all time. So if they close their free offer you will lose your website if you don't buy.

So what is the solution? The solution is to use blogs. I recommend www.blogger.com.
Because it's another excellent free Google service and creating a website through blogs is as easy as to write something. A lots of people earn through Adsense using blog. It is also Google friendly. So you can hope that your website will get to the eye of search engines a little easier if you have a good content.

I have made this page only for those who haven't used blog before or know little about it.
You can make a free website using blogger.

First sign up in www.blogger.com with a Gmail account.You have to name your blog url there.If you choose a name you will get a url like this..

You will need that url link when you sign up for Adsense.
Now Pick a template.Your blog has now created.
Start posting.New Posts will make new pages for you.
So you see creating a website through blog is as easy as sending a mail!!

I faced an interesting problem when i first start to use blog.In blog your last post will show first.But when you will go to create a website what will do? You will write your primary content(what your going to write) first.Then you will advance step by step.
So what you have written in your final(last) post will come first.But you will not be wanting that if your visitors required to know what you have written first.
The solution is easy.First write your different pages in different text files.
Then start publishing in reverse order.That means publish that post last which you want to show first.
Maybe after few days you want to add another page.So once again your last post will be shown first.So to keep your homepage(You want to show first) unchanged save the content in a text file, delete the post,publish the new post you want to add and then publish your homepage again from your text file.

So be sure name at your local bank( where you have a bank account)and the payee name you are providing in Adsense sign up form are same.

After you completing the Sign up process Google Adsense team will review your website
and reply you via email is your site approved or not. They usually reply within a week. Before getting there mail it's not wise to make any change to
your website. If you want to make any update or change you can do it after getting approval. When you are approved you are ready to place Google ads on your site. In approval mail you will get a tutorial how to put ads on your site.

Way No 1: This is the most easiest ways to put ads in your blog.After signing in your blog account go to Layout->Page Elements tab. There you will see how your page elements are arranged. Click on the "Add a Page Element" button. A new window will appear like this.

You can add Google ads from "Add to blog" button marked with red in above screen shot. Keep in mind you can place up to three ad unit and three link unit in a page. You cannot track which ad unit is working better if you put ads in this way. In way no 2 and 3 you can do it. But to start it will be little easier for a beginner.

Way No 2: This is like the way no 1 except you have to get the ad code. Watch the tutorial you got in approval mail from Adsense to know how you can get the ad code. Add a "HTML/JavaScript" element and put the ad code in content body. Keep the title body blank and save changes. In this method you can track which ad unit working better through channels.

Way No 3: You can put ad code by editing your HTML code. This way also works if you choose a web host other than blogger. No HTML knowledge required. You have to just know where you can edit your page html code. In blog you will find it in Layout->Edit HTML tab. Get the ad code from your adsense account and paste it there and save template. Watch the tutorial you got in your approval email to know how to put ad code in html editor. The most important factor to me is what one should not do. So i have discussed in this page what one should not do. A few years ago search engine optimization was a easy task. With some little changes it was possible to get a higher position on search results. But now those tricks are not only obsolete but also helps a website to get removed from search engines directory.

If you are not familiar with how search engines work read that first.

Let take a overview WHAT NOT TO DO. This techniques were followed by webmasters previously to make fool the search engines. Such as

1.HIDDEN TEXT: Some webmasters used hidden text for search engine crawler. This type of text cannot be viewed by human eyes. If some one use some white text in white background human eyes cannot read it. But the crawler does. They put some keywords as hidden text for which they wished to get up in search results.

2.EXCESSIVE KEYWORD STUFFED CONTENT: By putting excessive keyword was another technique to get more attention to search engine bots. Putting unnecessary keywords repeatedly not only give a bad impression to users but also help your site to remove from search engines index.

3.EXCESSIVE KEYWORD STUFFED HTML: It was an old technique by putting too many keywords in meta tag. Now Search engines does not rely on those tags too much.

I mentioned earlier back links can improve page rank of a site in Google search result. Page rank of a website can be viewed through Google Toolbar. Link exchange with other website can give you some back links and some traffic. But extra care should be taken when you are participating in link exchange with others.

Goggle not counts every bank link of a site. They count only those back links that come from a quality and relevant website. Suppose you have a site on banking. If you get some back links from a music site those back links will not be counted. Because you are getting back links from a site that is not relevant to your site. So only links from a banking site will be counted for your banking site. Content quality of that site pointing back to your site also matters. If your site gets a lot of back links from low quality sites relevant to your content will not make any difference. So choose another site for link exchange carefully.

AVOID SPAMMY TRAFFIC TIPS

Recently i have passed through a website discussing about getting traffic for websites. It was talking about generating traffic from yahoo answers. When i go through the comments of that site i found many interested to get traffic in that way. Is it any good way?

The answer is no. But for a newbie it can be a dangerous thing to do. In yahoo answers many people ask questions and any one can answer that. Sometimes people answer the question and leave a link to their sites. But if you go through yahoo answers guidelines you can not post your website link in answers if it is associated with affiliate programs.

The main point is you can not promote your site. Yahoo answers take these kind of attempt very seriously and banned the account as soon as they can. Some people are too fool to make a new account and get banned again.

So what is the bad point here? The bad point is if you do so you will be accused for spamming. Once you are accused of spamming your website will be removed from search engines index, your web host will deny to further serve you and you can not find a new one.

If you use any free web host they will also ban you. So do not blindly follow any tips to get traffic. This type of attempt can get some traffic for a little period of time but will leave along lasting bad impact for you.

An article has been published on Newsweek(Nov 5) about Google.According to that article Google is more vulnerable than anyone think.I am not as much wise as to comment about vulnerability of Google.I am just trying to share what i feel.

According to that article,dissatisfaction is growing about Google search.People are not getting from Google search what they expect.Their is no doubt that Google is the most popular search engine.According to that article 60 percents of web searchers use Google where as its closest competitor Yahoo get 12 percents searchers.

Google search is so popular for its relevant search results.But people are starting to say its not that relevant as they want.I feel sometimes i am not getting the best ten or twenty results on a search.Actually no one need more than one if he find his desired result.

But if unexpected results keep coming on a search engine people will try to get another search engine if that can provide better search result.Why these unexpected results are coming?I feel backlink is one of the main cause of it.Generally the exact factors to determine the position of a web page in a search is only known to search engineers.But we all know backlink is one of the major factor of it.

Google provide results according to the PageRank of a page.One of the factor to determine PageRank of a page is quantity,quality and relevance of its backlinks.A better or more relevant site can fall behind if it has less or no backlinks than other relevance site.Here is the Google Help on improving PageRank of a Page.

It says one of it lines that "In general, webmasters can improve the rank of their sites by increasing the number of high-quality sites that link to their pages".So webmasters are trying to get links to their page through link exchange program as paid links are not allowed.Here is what Google says about paid link.

So at this point one may think if search engines ignore that backlinks that came through link exchange the bad effect of backlinks can be minimized.Is that true?NO.

There will be other ways to exchange links if reciprocal links are banned by search engines.If some webmasters decide to exchange links they can easily do it by exchanging links among themselves and not with each other.Let me give an example.

Among 10 websites a website can link to other 5 web pages.Those 5 web pages can get link from other 5 web pages excluding than one they are pointing to.Not all web site will get 5 baclinks but some maths can do the optimization.If each of these 10 sites get involved in another circles a huge chain of backlinks will grow.So bots will fail to identify them.And it is the truth of universe for all time that computer programs can not win over human brains for all time.

So exclusion of manual link exchange is not the solution of the problem that rising for backlinks.I feel attention on backlinks to measure a page value is becoming another obsolete method like relying on title and meta tags,contents keywords etc. that search engines used before.

I feel time has come for search engines to find an alternative better way to measure page value
